There’s an error “OperationalError: database is locked” after submitting multiple tasks. I need to follow the instructions labeled “MIGRATE NOW” in the picture above. After that, do I need to reconfigure the computer and the code (or pseudo…) completely? Or will these be preserved? Does anyone know a better method? May I safely input “MIGRATE NOW”?
When you do a storage migration, your computers etc. will be preserved. Nonetheless, you should typically do a backup of your profile before doing these things, just to be safe.
Moreover, I’m wondering what exactly has happened. Submitting many calculations should not cause you to do a storage migration. Did you accidentally upgrade AiiDA?
What is the output of verdi storage version?
Thank you very much for your detailed response. I didn’t upgrade the version of AiiDA (AiiDA v2.7.1). Storage schema version of ‘presto-16’: ‘main_0002’. It was more like I didn’t wait for the previous task to finish running, and then I modified the parameters and resubmitted it. And by following the operation instructions, this problem has now been resolved.
Thanks!
OK, but still, AiiDA is definitely capable of running a lot of jobs in parallel, so this should not really cause you these problems (: Anyways, if I understood your last message correctly, your problem is solved now and you can continue running your jobs, is this correct?
(Also, it seems that there was an issue with the RabbitMQ broker in your initial message. If you run verdi status now, is it fine again? If not, this will of course also cause you some problems when trying to run jobs. Nonetheless, this shouldn’t result in any storage issue)
Let us know in case you have further issues!
Yes, as you mentioned above, I can continue running my jobs now. When I run verdi status, everything has returned to normal. Thank you very much for your professional response.
