# Hello from Pranav / Interested in contributing to aiida-core (GSoC 2027)

Hi everyone! My name is Pranav Agarwal, a CS student interested in  
contributing to aiida-core for GSoC 2027.

I have set up the development environment locally using uv, read the  
AI policy and contribution guidelines carefully, and just opened  
PR #7756 to add type annotations to aiida.common.datastructures.orbital  
following the move in PR #7672.

Looking forward to learning from the community and contributing more.
