Hey everyone 👋

In the beginning of this week, we released a new version of AiiDA, v2.8.0 🚀 This minor release comes with a number of new and exciting features, as well as bug fixes, making the code more powerful and stable. You can read more about it in the corresponding [blog post](http://aiida.net/news/posts/2026-03-18-release-2.8.0.html). A list of the 137(!) commits that went into this minor release can be found in the [changelog](https://github.com/aiidateam/aiida-core/blob/v2.8.0/CHANGELOG.md#v280---2026-03-16).
